Frontend project
frontend web development web design Frontend: Micro Interactions and Animations
In the Frontend course, our objective was to create two pages of a website using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. We had the choice between making the website responsive or incorporating micro interactions and animations. I opted for the latter, and I decided to recreate the Nintendo website due to its appealing and minimalist design. Little did I know, this choice would prove to be quite challenging, but it turned out to be an enjoyable learning experience.
Website Development
I dedicated significant effort to ensure that my website closely resembled the real Nintendo website in terms of appearance and functionality. By utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I strived to recreate the layout, styling, and interactive features of the original site.
Reflection
Despite the numerous frustrations I encountered during the process, the Frontend course was a highly rewarding experience for me. It taught me the importance of patience and perseverance in tackling complex coding challenges. Through this project, I delved deeper into HTML, CSS, and Javascript, expanding my knowledge and skills in frontend development.
Creating micro interactions and animations allowed me to explore the creative aspects of web design. I learned how subtle animations and interactions can significantly enhance the user experience and make the website more engaging and interactive.
Feel free to explore my website and observe how closely it resembles the real Nintendo website in terms of appearance and functionality.
